Originally, from Carter Lake, White earned a bachelor’s degree from Bellevue University in Nebraska and a postgraduate master’s degree in adult education/cultural diversity from the University of Technology in Sydney, Australia, while embarking on a professional life in more than 20 countries worldwide.
He has successfully held executive-level careers in such high-profile entertainment companies as Blockbuster Entertainment, Universal Music Group/Napster and Activision/Blizzard. For the past 14 years, he has served as senior vice president in human resources at Paramount Pictures.
White is an urban pioneer in downtown Los Angeles, which he has called home since 2001. As an active participant on the forefront of downtown LA’s multibillion-dollar redevelopment scene, he co-founded DTLA LIFE, a leading lifestyle and real estate company to serve buyers, sellers, property developers and investors.
His forward-thinking mindset as a global citizen empowers his sense of community that he focuses in downtown LA. Within his civic and philanthropic focus on eradicating poverty and family homelessness, his advocacy includes involvement with the Home for Good Business Leaders Task Force, United Way LA’s HR Committee, People Assisting the Homeless, Chrysalis and the 2019 United Way HomeWalk, in partnership with the Los Angeles Rams.
As the first in a trilogy of books, White authored “The World is a Safe Place,” in which he personalized his unique worldview to gently draw people into deeper modes of self-exploration and discovery.
