Join fellow creatives for a 2-hour Iconathon design workshop all about designing for social good. From gender equality in iconography to environmental issues like conservation, what's an issue that's important to you that needs better, more accurate visual representation? How would you visually communicate that concept in a simple pictogram?
Noun Project's Design Director Geremy Mumenthaler will talk participants through semiotics, symbolism and best practices for icon design. Then, we'll break into groups to design and sketch new icons together. All workshop materials will be provided and attendees will receive a Noun Project tote bag and notebook. After the workshop, all sketches will be put into a digital gallery and shared with the group.
Everyone is welcome to participate, no drawing or art skills are required.
